Google is trying to bridge the massive gap between the Android Market and Apple’s App Store for iOS with App Inventor. The application allows anyone to build a smartphone application, with no technical know-how required. It sounds like a great idea, until you think about all the crappy apps that could flood the Android Market as a result of lowering the development bar.
